Let me talk about my own situation first. I am a 25-year-old workhorse. I commute two hours back and forth every day and only have a one-hour lunch break. I am often taken to meetings by my boss at short notice. I used to play the kind of liver games that required going online on the hour to grab resources, but the result was that the work game collapsed at both ends. Now when I see the words "real-time online", I subconsciously want to run away.
But this game is completely different from what I expected. First of all, it's called tower defense, not the kind of tower defense that's so hardcore that you have to memorize the strategy. It's the kind of tower defense where you use your brain to set up a formation and watch the zombies rush over and then be blown away by your turrets. A game lasts only a few minutes, and after two stops on the subway, I can finish the game without delaying getting off the train.
My favorite is the dynamic tower defense variation. In the past, playing tower defense consisted of building a tower, upgrading it, and completing the task, which was very boring. The towers in this game will change with the number of attacks and the type of zombies. Even the tower's attack form will be different depending on the position of your formation. One time during my lunch break, I figured out a combo of slowing down and adding a wall of fire. It was a stress relief when I killed the BOSS before the finish line. It was so satisfying🗯️
Then there are the graphics and special effects of this game, which have a real sense of technology. It's not the kind of light pollution that fills the screen, it's the cool color modeling that's very comfortable to look at. I wear headphones during my lunch break, and the sound effects of zombies exploding along with the explosion special effects make me laugh unintentionally. My colleagues ask me if I am reading something fun again.
Some people may think that this type of game requires money to play. As a hardworking office worker, I have been playing the game for more than half a month, and I have passed all the levels that need to be passed. I don't feel that there is any need for money. Rewards are mainly given by completing levels and activities. The towers and zombie illustrations provided by the system are enough. If you want to collect more, you can take your time, but it will definitely not affect the main experience. There are not many mobile games these days that can be played without being too demanding and still playable. It's worth praising your conscience👍
Of course, the biggest advantage of playing this game is the flexibility of time. Unlike a certain game I played before, the World BOSS always starts at eight o'clock in the evening. After working overtime, I can only stare at the end of the event. Zombie Storm is basically a fragmented gameplay. You can go online whenever you want. You can push through a few levels and quit if you don't want to. The progress will be saved for you. To be honest, working people are the most susceptible to this, after all, middle-aged people squeeze out their gaming time😭
Finally, I would like to say sincerely, if you are also a working party who is exhausted from work but still wants some intellectual stimulation, you can try this. Zombie Storm is not a masterpiece, but it is to my liking. Play a few games on your commute every day. If you win, you will go to work happily. If you lose, you will be killed by zombies in advance. Continue to work overtime at night. After all, you have to move bricks tomorrow. Let's encourage each other, haha.
