Let me first explain how I discovered this. Yesterday, I originally wanted to take a stroll around the Jiangnan district, but by accident, I ended up in the music sharing section… just kidding! Actually, I was browsing for lesser-known games in the App Store, and when I saw this name, it really caught my eye, so I downloaded it to give it a try. The result… truly amazing!! I absolutely have to recommend it to all of you on the forum!
The graphics of this game are truly beautiful! It's not some flashy 3D blockbuster, but a Jiangnan town full of ink-and-wash charm, with small bridges and flowing water, and willows swaying gently. Just looking at it makes you feel calm. The gameplay is also super interesting; you can study literature or learn martial arts. At first, I thought the 'Seven Acupoint Techniques' was some kind of medical simulation, but it's actually a martial arts feature! Zhuo, Chuo, Pai, Qin, Na, Zhuang, Bi — each move you have to figure out yourself, and the combat flows seamlessly, giving a really satisfying feeling, 666!
Right now, my favorite thing to do is wandering in the woods, often encountering children picking pinecones. Their laughter is seriously healing. Over by the Willow Garden, when the wind blows and the willow branches sway, the atmosphere is just perfect; even taking a screenshot to use as wallpaper is enough. The game also has a day-and-night cycle: train at the martial arts arena in the morning, read in the afternoon, stroll by the river at night. It gives a sense of ‘slow life in the mundane world,' really relaxing.
The most important part! This game is actually free! There are no annoying microtransaction traps, and you can enjoy it fully without spending a cent. I hadn't heard of the development team, Orange Intention, before, but their sincerity in this game is truly remarkable. I feel like not many people are playing this game, so I'm sharing it here—I really hope more people get to experience this Jiangnan world.
Anyway, I've been playing it for several days straight. Every time I open it, it feels like a gentle dream. Slow down and enjoy it~ I'd seriously cry if this kind of underrated game doesn't get popular 😭 Brothers and sisters, go try it! If you don't like it, come find me!!
