Actually, I rarely play fighting or shooting games because I find them too tense, but 'Air Crisis' is really different! Although the name sounds a bit cool, the art style is surprisingly cute, even the enemy planes are round and chubby, and when they get blown up, they turn into little stars with a 'pop'✨, which is really healing~
In the game, we play as a young lady of the Royal Air Force, piloting fighter planes to defend our homeland. The controls are very simple—just dodge bullets and shoot down planes—but the pace is nice and smooth, without any sudden scares. Even someone like me, who's clumsy with controls, can gradually get the hang of it, and after completing each level, you can pick up lots of equipment, gradually upgrading your fighter plane into a cuter version. It's really addictive!
What gets me the most are those enemy fighter planes. They look fierce, but their defense levels are different. Some need to be hit many times to explode, while others disappear with just one touch. Every time I have to carefully observe their expressions. It feels like playing a puzzle game, both tense and funny, a bit like popping bubble wrap haha.
