Dear forum friends, the editor is here again to recommend a new game to everyone! This week, we are talking about a newly released Xianxia mobile game called 'Becoming Immortal'. At first, the name sounds quite imposing, but when you actually play it, it gives you a leisurely feeling of 'strolling among mountains and rivers', making you want to stay a little longer.
The game follows the classic Xianxia-style MMOARPG route, but the visuals are truly surprising. Overall, it's an open world with a Chinese aesthetic in 3D, with distant mountains rendered in ink-wash style and nearby pavilions with flying eaves and carved decorations. When light and shadow hit the streams, tiny golden ripples appear. I casually took a few screenshots and posted them in the group, and my friends asked if they were from a cartoon, haha~ The free camera perspective also makes exploration more exciting: you can look up to see the sea of clouds or look down to count the blue stone tiles. The vast world flows right at your fingertips.
In terms of gameplay, 'Becoming Immortal' doesn't just focus on stacking numbers; instead, it places great emphasis on the experience of 'adventuring together.' Team instances are the main attraction—clearing bandits or challenging secret realms with friends you know, coordinating skill timing and movements, the sense of achievement after completing an instance is truly addictive. Along the way, you can meet heroes, have NPCs with different personalities accompany your growth, and even find a martial companion to travel together, adding a touch of everyday life to the martial world.
In terms of operation, the mobile game features common skill shortcuts combined with auto-battle assistance, making it easy for newcomers to get started; but to perform well in PVP or high-difficulty stages, a certain level of skill and understanding is still required—it's not the type of game you can just AFK through. Currently, the game runs quite smoothly on its platforms, with responsive clicks and no noticeable lag during team play. The developer, Shenzhen Lanrui Interactive, has definitely put effort into this one; you can see the polishing work from the scene details to the animation feedback.
What is the most important thing? This game currently has zero entry barriers, and you can normally experience the main storyline, dungeons, and equipment growth loop without spending a single penny. Of course, if you are willing to spend money on beautiful outfits or having heroes assist in battles, that's also possible, but at least for casual players who just want to get started easily, it is very friendly. Fans of the Xianxia genre especially shouldn't miss it; the romance of swinging a sword to split water and walking on clouds, I, for one, find it really appealing.
That's it for this week's hot game recommendations. If you're also starting out in 'Become an Immortal,' feel free to reply and talk about your sect choice and your most fun dungeon experiences~ See you in the Jianghu! 😉
