The graphics of this game are really quite strange; you could call it a martial arts style, but it also has a bit of Western fantasy vibes. Anyway, it's that kind of indescribable mix. But when you're quietly running around the map at night, it strangely feels quite comfortable. The fact that you can freely enter buildings really hits me—last night I was just daydreaming on the roof of a house in some unknown village, watching the NPCs walking around below, feeling like a night wanderer haha.
But what really got me hooked in this game is catching mounts. 🦎 The free hunting feature is so generous, and mounts aren't just for show—they actually help you fight! Yesterday, I camped for a lightning leopard for nearly two hours just waiting for it to respawn... but I accidentally hit the wrong skill and killed it, and I felt like smashing my phone right then. But I wasn't willing to give up, so I switched servers and kept camping. When I finally caught it, I almost shouted out loud, then remembered my roommate was sleeping, so I forced myself to hold it in and kept hitting the bed in frustration.
I haven't really dared to touch the arena yet. Just looking at the descriptions of those 50-player free-for-alls makes me a bit intimidated. As a clumsy player, I think it's better for me to stick to being a hunter. However, I did try a few duo dungeons, and I got along quite well with a random player. Even though we didn't type anything to each other, the rhythm of you tanking while I deal damage, and me drawing aggro when you're low on health, somehow gave a strangely romantic feeling of fighting side by side late at night? (Maybe it's just a hallucination from staying up too late.)
