Hello everyone, I'm a newbie looking for guidance. I just started getting familiar in the Qitan Dimension community. Recently, a friend recommended Seer: Galaxy Wars to me, which is produced by Shanghai Taomi. My phone is Android 4.0 and it can run it, and the payment model is free, so I thought I'd give it a try. As it turns out, once I started playing, I got a bit hooked, so I'm posting this to help other newcomers avoid pitfalls.
First of all, this game is not just about fighting. You can freely explore the planets, interact with the environments, and there are Easter eggs where you can get exclusive rare items and hidden creatures. I didn't know at first and didn't click on the glowing stones and strange trees I saw. Later, when I saw other people's posts, I realized I had missed a lot of Easter eggs, and it really hurt my heart.
There is also a base system, where you can build bases, devices, furniture, and decorations. At first, I was only focused on arranging the furniture, thinking it just needed to look good, but then I realized that elves can help with production and construction in the base. I had placed the production facilities messily, so the efficiency was very low. Beginners should really set up the basic production devices first, and then do the decoration, otherwise resources won't keep up.
Collecting Pokémon is also a huge trap. There are hundreds of remade Pokémon in the game. At first, I only looked at rarity and caught a bunch of the same type, and in battles they got completely countered because of their type. There are 18 type matchups, so you must check the opponent's type before fighting. Don't be like me, stubbornly using Fire types against Water types and losing so badly that you start questioning life.
Also, hidden spirits aren't ones you can catch just by encountering them. Some require interactions or specific conditions. I ran around for a long time without triggering them, and only later did I realize I needed to pay attention to the scene hints. When exploring, click around more and walk around more; don't rush through the game.
But to be honest, even though I ran into some pitfalls, I still think this game is pretty suitable for newbies who like exploring and collecting. It's also very friendly with zero charges. Slowly building a base, catching creatures, and studying attributes is quite fun. Thanks to the expert who recommended it to me back then, and I hope the pros on the forum can help me out and teach me how to arrange my base more efficiently. Newbie seeking guidance, thanks in advance! 😭✨
