Of course, the specifics also depend on the stats and skills of the beasts you hatch.
Regarding hatching eggs, my little tip is not to immediately use a high-speed incubator when you see a rare egg. First, check if the current event offers rewards for the number of hatches. Some events give extra shards based on hatch counts, so it's more cost-effective to use regular eggs to rack up the counts first, then use rare eggs for the key rewards, rather than just speeding up blindly. Also, remember to clear some space in your inventory before hatching, or you'll get stuck when your egg slots are full. Don't ask me how I know this. 😂
Evolution materials should be used sparingly. In the early stages, the evolution stones and fusion stones given by the main storyline are limited, so prioritize using them to unlock key evolution nodes for your main units, and avoid leveling up every mythical beast. Because once the evolution path goes off track, it can be quite exhausting to switch later.
As for the Star Continent, I personally think this gameplay is the mid-game watershed. When you first enter, don't think about capturing all the guardian beasts at once. First, observe the opponent's lineup and attribute counters. My approach is to first tackle the levels I can definitely win, accumulate fragments and resources of the guardian beasts, and then go back to challenge the harder ones. If you encounter something you can't defeat, don't push it; go back and raise the level, skills, and equipment of your main team. Often, it's just that slight lack of training that makes the difference.
The advantage is that it gives a strong sense of collection, with a wide variety of mythical creatures such as phoenixes, white tigers, unicorns, and nine-tailed foxes. Hatching and evolution make raising them more than just simple leveling up. There are also disadvantages: the early pace is relatively slow, and hatching eggs and gathering materials take time, so it might be a bit frustrating if you want to get strong quickly. The payment model is 0; you can play for free without issues, but you still need to spend time where necessary.
If you're ready to get into it, my advice is: keep a calm mindset, complete your daily tasks, hatch eggs, push through levels, and gather materials every day. Raise one main character first, then slowly expand your team. Don't rush to compare yourself with the top players on the leaderboard; playing the game slowly is actually more enjoyable.
