Family, recently I've been totally hooked by 'Xi Fei Q Chuan' 😭. Originally, it was recommended by my roommate. She said it was a classical-style card game with palace intrigue. When I heard 'palace intrigue,' I thought it would involve scheming every day, but after playing, it's more like an idle game where you collect resources, train followers, and watch the story unfold. Surprisingly good.
The core gameplay is about collecting followers, forming lineups, progressing through the main storyline, as well as things like the palace intrigue leaderboard, factions, romance, and home. The new version of the red general, Qin Wang Ying Zheng, has been strengthened. I managed to collect fragments bit by bit through events and finally exchanged for him; once his ultimate skill is activated, the damage maxes out immediately. I was stuck on the boss in Chapter 6 before, but after switching to Ying Zheng, I actually pushed all the way to Chapter 8. The 'Eternal Emperor' really packs a punch, 666. The art style also hits me pretty well; the clothes, mounts, and palaces are all exquisite. Once I set up the costumes, I'll post a selfie. Getting started isn't too hard, and the auto-battle and sweep features are very friendly for someone like me who slacks off in class (just kidding). But the downsides have to be mentioned: stamina really isn't enough, leveling up red generals is slow, and you'll hit roadblocks later on. There are definitely points where you can spend money, but I can currently play without spending a dime, just slowly saving resources through daily tasks and events. A little tip is not to spread your resources evenly—prioritize your core damage dealers, like a red general such as Ying Zheng; remember to complete free daily recruits, faction tasks, and palace battles, as small gains add up; if you can't win a palace battle, target the lower-ranked opponents and don't force a fight.
Family members in the selfie and socializing section, is anyone else playing this too? I want to hang out in an active group or find someone to chat with, and it would be great if you could guide me in palace intrigue battles. I talk a lot and love using emojis 😂 If you like ancient-style card games with idle mechanics, give it a try. I'll leave this recommendation here for now, warning: this game is really addictive!
